Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive, non-urethral procedure designed to shrink the enlarged prostate gland. PAE shrinks the prostate by treating its blood vessels. It is performed by making a small pin size hole access in the wrist or groin artery and inserting a catheter into the artery which gives the doctor access to the artery supplying blood to the prostate.
Tiny particles are injected into the arteries that supply blood to the prostate, blocking their blood flow. This process reduces the nutrients and oxygenated blood flow to the prostate gland causing the prostate to shrink in size, relieving pressure on the urethra and reducing urinary symptoms associated with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).

His office provides vascular & interventional radiology. From the moment I walked in service and care was exceptional.
