Venous disease refers to conditions that affect the veins, impairing their ability to efficiently return blood to the heart. It encompasses a range of issues, including:
Enlarged, twisted veins usually occurring in the legs due to weakened vein walls or faulty valves.
Poor vein function over time, leading to symptoms such as leg swelling, pain, and skin changes.
Blood clot formation in deep veins, which can be life-threatening if not treated promptly and cause swelling and pain.
Non-healing wounds that develop on the legs due to poor circulation and increased pressure in the veins.
Commonly known as Iliac vein compression syndrome can cause leg and pelvic congestion resulting in blood clots or blockage involving upper portion of the leg veins.
Diagnosing venous disease typically involves:
Including inspection of the legs for visible signs such as varicose veins or ulcers.
A procedure using contrast dye and X-rays to create images of the veins, often reserved for more complex cases, and is done prior to the treatment of deep veins.
A non-invasive test that uses sound waves to visualize blood flow in the veins and detect any abnormalities.
rImage guided ultrasound is performed to precisely locate the iliac femoral, popliteal and/or tibial vein compression and determine the exact percentage of stenosis for assessment of May-Thurner Syndrome.
Treatment for venous disease aims to relieve symptoms, improve circulation, and prevent complications. Options may include:
Lifestyle changes such as elevation of the legs, wearing compression stockings, and regular exercise focusing on legs.
Including sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins, endo-venous laser therapy (EVLT), radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and non-thermal superficial venous sclerosant to close off diseased refluxing veins which are not amenable to conservative therapy. For severe cases or specific conditions like venous ulcers that require endovascular repair with treatment of underlying venous conditions with venogram and advanced wound care.

Dr. Singha has helped me out so much. I have seen five different doctors and all of them kept offering the same option to get a myomectomy done but I knew there had to be a better option out there. A huge thanks to my primary doctor who introduced me to Dr. Singha. As soon as I received my first consultation I could already see that Dr. Singha knew exactly what he was doing and talking about, I was able to trust him right away. The staff has been the best and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Now it has been a few months that I have received the UFE procedure and I can already tell the difference in my periods. Very light bleeding and almost no cramps at all. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Singha and all the staff who has been very supportive.
I’m very grateful with Dr. Singha’s office. The doctor and his staff and Ms. Sandra are very attentive and professional.
Dr. Singha is really very nice and explained everything very well. Ms. Sandra is always pleasant to speak to and does not get upset when I call her multiple times with the same questions over and over.
This office inspires me confidently.
Awesome staff and Doctor couldn’t get my praise more. The Doctor gave his time and knowledge to diagnose me and helped me with everything. Staff was so sweet and helpful. Best Doctor and Staff.
Dr. Singha and staff have been great from the start. Have had several procedures and all have been great. Very professional and courteous staff. Very satisfied with level of care.
I had several vein surgeries. Professional and helpful staff here. Very happy with the level of care.
His office provides vascular & interventional radiology. From the moment I walked in service and care was exceptional. The person at the front desk, the assistants and the doctor were both professional and very kind and friendly. Dr. Singha took his time to explain everything in terms I could understand. He even explained results about something I was told at my primary’s office which I didn’t understand. For both things he showed me as he explained on the screen on the laptop. He made sure I completely understood, how severe or mild things were and what to do. He was the most thorough and patient doctor I’ve ever been to in my over 60 years of life.
